- first of all, open cmd by pressing windows+r and type cmd or open your start menu and search cmd and hit enter.
- Now type the following command in your cmd attrib j:*.* /d /s -h -r -s ( replace j to your pen drive letter)
- Now hit enter and you will see all your shortcut virus will be removed.
if somehow it doesn't work in your computer then you can try notepad method
How To Remove Shortcut virus in Pendrive Using Notepad
- this is same like CMD just copy that code and paste it to Notepad (don't forget to change letter to your pen drive letter)
- Now save it as the .bat format (in my case it is virus.bat)
- after that, un this bat file and your shortcut virus will be removed.
